Product Implementation (One™)

One™, Virgil’s portal based commercial implementation of Live™ for the financial industry follows a slightly different implementation path in comparison to Live™. One™, a fully fledged IBM Websphere Portal solution comes packed with a large set of pre-configured portlets and therefore requires little customization work and minimal fine-tuning. Part of the One™ product implementation deliverables is a high-level business process analysis to make sure we understand thoroughly how users, data sets and applications will interact within the final solution. Regardless of whether your organization is at the early stage of implementing a portal or already has a fully deployed IBM Websphere portal environment, Virgil can assist you in the technical planning process. Ultimately, there is also the possibility to develop client specific customisations on top of One™. 

Installation

The installation process is the first step in realizing the benefits and power of Virgil solutions. Virgil’s Business and IT experts will work with your internal infrastructure and installation teams to develop a plan for delivering your new streaming data solution. Virgil uses the latest innovative technologies such as Ajax , Comet and Web Services; we will work with you to find and make use of the most effective and efficient way to deploy, distribute and administer your One™ or Live™ solution.

Training and documentation

Training courses cover all the main modules within the Virgil product line. Our team of expert trainers will tailor each course to meet user requirements in terms of breadth and depth of knowledge.   Once the customized training plan has been agreed, our trainers will pass the required knowledge to the customer’s own in-house trainer or, directly to the end-users. In addition to the course materials, Virgil trainers can provide written instructions and documentation material in either soft or hard copy format.

Administrators and client support staff will be provided with up-to-date installation and systems guides. They will also have access to the Virgil protected support and download site for regular product updates.
